I think Nasri has watched this.
You’ve got to understand Fabregas – we basically drove him away with our lack of ambition and in his final game (2-1 defeat at Bolton) it was clear enough was enough. Season after season, he would give his all but the team would flatter to deceive through one same, annoying mistake.
Put yourself in his shoes, wouldn’t you do the same when your home club and the club of your dreams as a kid comes calling?
All the best Cesc!
lets concentrate on our players, the players still at our club. Cesc is gone and he cant help us now
Will welcom u with open heart cesc.
When he come back. What will happen when barca want him again
If cesc was dat passionate abt arsenal he wudnt ave left in d 1st place,he betrayed AW d man hu put his reputation on d line 2 turn him in2 a superstar he is 2day i tink cesc hs looked back 2 dose days wen AW wudnt mind 2 play a tiny cesc back den in d star studded arsenal midfield jst 4 him 2 hone his skills n get d necessary playing time,AW went further axe flamini n viera so dat cesc cud com in2 d world of his own,al dose developmental period cesc didnt kno he had passion 2 play 4 barcelona his boyhood club until he has bn made a finished article he is by AW.cesc knows he has bitten d hands dat fed him so eva since he left us he has bn making frantic effort 2 placate AW by his outpouring of sentiments.cesc is a big part of our horrendous start 2 d season, turning arsenal 2 a club scraping 4 pts jst 2 stay in touch wit d top four. 4 me he shld ave handled d whole transfer saga d way modric did at totenham atlist arsenal n wenger deserve dat little professionalism n maturity frm him.i hope he wil fit in2 d arsenal team wen he comes back kos arsenal is nt a team abt a player rather u ave 2 b able 2 fit in2 d way arsenal plays as a player 2 b sucessful in dis club.u cnt decide 2 go giv ur best playing yrs 2 a club dat knows notin abt hw u became a star den afta ur essence is gone u com 2 a club dat made u and retire
With “abt”, “dat”, “abt”, “wuldnt”, “ave”, “d” and “d” just in the first sentence, do you really expect anyone to read the rest? This is the type of spelling I expect from a spurs fan…
love cesc, got no hard feelings for him at all.
he gave it a good go for very many years, but the boss was never able to give him a steady team of quality players to play with. the timing was not right. he was great but others were phasing in and out. i blame hleb, flamini and diarra. if any one of these idiots had chosen to stay loyal to wenger and stick it out for longer, we would have won a title in cesc’s time. instead they jumped ship like the rats they are, and screwed up wenger’s teambuilding plans. nasri did it too but cesc was away by then.
Cesc n Nasri were Arsenal’s good players but just like any other big club Arsenal will do withoutthem eg in champions lg
To hell with him…He want to com back as 89 yrs old to do what? Me thinks all this gibberish is a lame attempt at securing a statue at the Emirates…
I still ask these “I-still-have-love for-Cesc brigade..Hw is Cesc’s situation diffrent from Adebayor??? You would be situpi to argue that Ade didn’t do anythin for us…Cesc abandoned us at the hour we most needed him to join the fancy boys in the fancy suburb..
barca is his boyhood club the club he grew up with , thats how it differs from adebayor you cannot argue that , arrived at arsenal as a very young lad , sure time was put into him , but he did his utmost for arsenal the whole time but in the end , it is his boyhood club , of course hes going to go back dont be so naive
Well said scoob get tell that clown about spell check Cesc cdid us proud but lack of ambition drove him south good luck M8
at least nasri got a good price for us. 25m for a player in last year of contract. cesc f us up by refusing to go anywhere but barca and we were force to take a relatively paltry 35m… he could have helped by being less of a sissy oh-i-am-so-in-love-with-my-hometown when barca came calling.
he is history. a footnote. nothing more.
stop all this hostility to cesc, it’s really pathetic.
players come and go from clubs, much like lovers come and go from your life.
people who get obsessed with ex-partners and who just hate them for leaving are really pathetic. it’s bitchiness. complete and utter bitchiness.
a proper man treats his girlfriends well after they’ve split as well as during a relationship. cesc behaved impeccably during his time with us. be gracious ex-supporters and show him the respect and love he deserves. and stop being so bitchy. grow up. become men.
Gooner17…does 17 refer to your age? I will excuse you if u answer in the affirmative…Your ex-girlfriend analogy would only relevant if you broke up on good terms (read Henry)…What if the split happened after you caught her red handed being boned by some dude you don’t even like? Would you still treat her “well”?
Would you say the same stuff if it was Ade being discussed?
How on earth can people say that the Catalan bitch’s departure is justified because Arsenal didn’t match his ambitions?? How come Van Persie, et al did not leave for lack of ambition when Cesc was being thrown in the starting eleven on a regular basis, notwithstanding the fact that he was barely an inexperienced kid?
The most painful aspect of the whole business however is the fact that we only received a lousy 35 million…
Gooner17 = Gunner17
He never made any secret of his love of his home-town team and and his boyhood hero, their manager. They wanted him and snowed that – unlike us – they were prepared to spend to maitain their level o f success. Our owner , measures our success by our financi al clout, as he does with his US teams. Fabregas is no fool. Money is not his God, so he didn`t leave us after an auction by the big spenders. He left to play football – at the highest level . This was no reflection on his love for Arsenal , He has declared that that if he ever leaves Barca, he`d wsh to come back to us. Great. I`d be overjoyed; not only for his great talent but because, like Henry, Adams and Bergkamp, among many other former players – he is a Gunner – and makes it known to everyone. I am ashamed that a few small-minded idiots are able to have their jealous, misguided {I will noy dignify what goes on in their heads, as `thoughts`} printed.
I still follow him on tweeter!
Cesc just let us be!
cesc paid his dues, adebayor did not. cesc was quality for 8 years. adebayor had one good season and then he was lifting his skirt to every passing club.
but just because ade was a slut that doesn’t mean we should abuse him from the stands. that’s bitchy behaviour, unbecoming of men. forget about him, support your team, and show respect to the ex-players who have earned it with their efforts, like cesc.
Gunner17, clearly the point is not getting across so let me end the discussion with a quote..Won’t tell you from whom because you will most probably not like him..
“Freethinkers are those who are willing to use their minds without prejudice and without fearing to understand things that clash with their customs, privileges, or beliefs. This state of mind is not common, but it is essential for right thinking; where it is absent, discussion is apt to become worse than useless.”
jeez, i wouldn’t want to be one of your ex-girlfriends.
i want arsenal to be a club that ex-players eulogise about. it’s not always possible for every player to have a great relationship with your club, but i want arsenal to be highly esteemed and regarded at all times by as many players as possible. i want henry and fabregas broadcasting to the other great players of the world how amazing arsenal is. i’m proud to be associated with a club that is regarded by ex-players and others as classy all the way.
i believe that we as fans have a responsibility to be respectful to our ex-players and opposition players, so that we can maintain the classy image of arsenal football club.
so less juvenile tribalism please.
end of conversation.
Once a gunner always a gunner. Its good if Fabregas will make a come back to Arsenal the club that nurtured him.
i would not want him to come back ,he betrayed us, and that is that.there is no need crying ove spilt milk.
Cesc should go along his business for barcelona as we have gone about our business with Arsenal.
a traitor will always be a traitor. period.
