That was the last time Thierry Henry raised the roof at the Emirates Stadium. What a way to do it. And what an opposition to do it against.

It was during Arsenal’s debut season at their new ground and a Rooney goal had threatened to end the Gunners’ unbeaten run at home, only for a Van Persie equalizer with just seven minutes to go and a Henry winner right at the death to secure an amazing victory.

If the 34-year-old is signed again by the club on a two-month loan deal – as reports suggested on Thursday morning – fixtures against this same Manchester United side and Tottenham will be coming his way.

Could the “great man produce the great moment” again? Well here’s a reminder.
