Video: Van Persie’s LAST appearance in an Arsenal shirt
After both Arsenal and Manchester United confirmed an agreement to transfer Robin van Persie to Old Trafford yesterday, the curtain was finally closed on the Dutchman’s eight-year career as a Gunner.
And so, his cameo in Sunday’s match against FC Cologne will now go down as his last appearance as an Arsenal player. After watching the short clip below, please share your thoughts on the prospect of seeing Van Persie in a Manchester United shirt on Monday when they play Everton.

I’m very optimistic this season. I know Wenger said he wasn’t going to buy another striker but hopefully if we can get deals done for Chamakh, Park & Bendtner as well as Van Persie then we may get a back up for Giroud. Also get as much as we can for Song and get either Wanyama or M’Vila with the money as both are better defensively than Song. So two more players in, a DM and a Striker and I wouldn’t bet us winning the title which would make Van Persie look like the massive twat that he is. COME ON YOU GUNNERS!
I completely agree, one major difference I think is that arsene finally bought winners. Giroud was top scorer and won the french league, cazorla won back to back euros, and podolski is so clinical hes been playing for germany for ages. He bought park, and chamakh who really werent anything special and dont know how it feels to win. This season will be good forsure
personally, i still feel chamakh still have something to prove with the exit of van persie. i’ll rather keep him and give him the chance he stopped gaining since van persie recovered from his last injury, this will make him gain back his cnfidence and proof wenger right for buying him in the first place. Big advice to wenger! pls stop selling out our dear players for the sake of money! because this will encourage younger ones to leave the club once they become stars. we are not grooming ground for world class players. imagine what the club would have been if we have Nasir, Fabrigas, Van persie with the inclusion of our current recruits. Arsenal would have been the club to beat. Well, just stating the obvious cos no need crying over spilt milk
For the record rvp is a c#nt!.
That will be all, ladies and gentlemen!.
for me he already gone when he don’t want to sign new deal and honestly i didn’t feel anything
there is nothing new here, people come and go.. Vieira, Henry as example
nowadays football is not about loyalty, money does matter!
btw 24mil is good business with his age
finally thank you RVP for your services and goodbye!
