‘Was rubbish today’,’Very poor’: Some fans bash Arsenal star after Leeds show
A number of Arsenal fans were certainly not happy with the performance of one player in particular, despite the win over Leeds United in the third round of the FA Cup on Monday.
The Gunners went into the cup tie against Leeds United, knowing that another solid performance at home was needed in order to keep a mini winning run going under Mikel Arteta.
With Arsenal being involved in so many fixtures over the festive period, the new manager decided to rotate his starting eleven – as expected – for the clash with the side from the second division.
The changes to the team saw Rob Holding make a rare start as he received a chance to impress in the absence of the injured Calum Chambers.
Holding has not been able to claim a regular spot in the starting eleven this season due to his fitness problems and his form did not look too good in the eyes of several fans who shared their views after watching him on Monday…

Rob Holding has been very poor tonight which is disappointing as he was our best CB last season till his injury and looked like he was going to kick on

Rob Holding had a night to forget. Supposedly a ball playing CB, he consistently played the ball to Leeds players or over the sidelines.
Leeds keeper was unreal with his feet, showed Emi up in that respect.

I really like Rob Holding, he was part of one of my favourite double acts ever (Holding and Per playing good cop, bad cop on Diego Costa, in case you're wondering) but he has looked very poor today. Hopefully just shaking some rust off. #ARSLEE

Holding in a back 4 has always been dodgy. Only during the Unais 22 unbeaten where he looked okay, and during that run he played LCB with Socrates and RCB. I think Arteta should have started with that. #ARSLEE

I hope Holding also finds his form but he's the reason I'll take Boateng in a heart beat
