He should be offloaded next season
Were well Stocked in the Middle For Next Season Let’s hope he stays Fit he is good Wjen he is consistent.. Let’s Hope We get Podolski. And Let’s see how far we will go next season.
good to see diaby back. he’s had some bad luck.
although i wish him the best, i doubt he’ll hold down a place at arsenal for long. i think the game in general, and arsenal’s game, have both moved on from him. it’s much more about small, busy, quick passing in central midfield nowadays. especially in top level matches. diaby is tall and strong, but just a bit too slow and lanky and casual in his movement, for really big games. Non-PL sides will run circles around him.
one talent he does have is his clever footwork…he’s good a drawing players in and jinking around them…vieira had a similar skill…is it good enough to keep him at arsenal and in the team ahead of wilshere, ramsey, arteta, rosicky, song, coquelin, frimpong…or even lansbury, henderson or ozzy…i don’t think so.
he should go to somewhere like liverpool. he’d boss it up there. that would be a good platform for him.
a lot of people will eat there words in regards to diaby just like you did with van persie and song and rosicky.
It’s very possible. He has been adapting very well to a defensive mid position over the past couple of years – got no credit for it, of course.
He’s a similar case to Djourou: has all the talent in the world, just needs to wake tf up at times.
diaby is classy artist,u,ll soon c the formidable diaby performing a way u never seen before. come on diaby 2.its about time.
Absolutely agree that Diaby has the skills and ability to become elite. Shocking run with injuries that started back in 2006 where he had his ankle snapped like a twin by a 19yo Dan Smith at the Stadium of Light in a dirty, malicious and studs up tackle. A game which Arsenal won 3-0 however that horrible tackle that earned Smith a straight red, took Diaby out for more than a year. (ALA Eduardo, Ramsey)
Have a look and see why Arsene has stuck with this guy….Including the dirty tackle…

He’s been unlucky with injuries but has very good technical ability & can pass players with the ball at his feet. At 25 it’d be a big mistake to off load him before he’s been given a chance.
the boy has class he just hasn’t had any luck of late. even when he was playing he had a few defensive weaknesses but in general he was a 6′ 3″ strong defensive/holding mid with the ability to beat a man or two and score on occasion. i hope he, like van persie, can come back and play a full season after a summer of rest (barring a shock euro appearance) if he does i think we would have the FRENCH INTERNATIONAL back to his old self (and possibly better) by the end of this calendar year. i know this is all very optimistic but i’m an abou fan i can’t help it. i guess the bottom line is if he can’t stay healthy (i.e. has another season like this one) i don’t see how we can keep him, although i wonder why we couldn’t just put him on the pay-as-you-play plan…
