‘We have to be honest’: What some fans are now saying about Nicolas Pepe after Man United show
On Monday, several Arsenal fans took to Twitter to air their views about what they have seen so far from Nicolas Pepe in his career at the Emirates stadium.
The 24-year-old agreed to join the Gunners from Lile in the summer transfer window, following the footsteps of his countryman Gervinho, who moved to the club in 2012, before being offloaded within a couple of years.
Pepe does seem to have more talent in his locker than the Gunners’ former signing from Lille but the Ivorian is yet to score from open play this season.
Having joined Arsenal as the most expensive signing in the history of the club, Pepe has been dealing with a lot more pressure than ever from the fans.
The winger had a fairly quiet night at Old Trafford on Monday, and as the season slowly nears the half-way point, some fans have shared their thoughts on Pepe.

After a great 2018/19 for Lille, Nicolas Pépé has been underwhelming since his disappointing AFCON. There’s potential there but he needs to turn it around ASAP.
