Arsene Wenger has confirmed the club’s stance regarding the future of its most prized asset this summer.
The Gunners are preparing for a season in the Europa League after failing to finish in the Premier League’s top four last term.
Arsenal’s summer has been dominated by rumours regarding the sale of Alexis Sanchez, especially after the arrival of Alexandre Lacazette.
The Chilean superstar, who scored 30 goals in all competitions last season, is yet to extend his contract at the club.
Thus, rumours have continued to link Sanchez with a move to Manchester City in a reunion with former Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola.
However, Wenger insists the 28-year-old will be at Arsenal next season because the club is unwilling to sell him this summer.
“The decision has been made and we will stick to that – the decision is not to sell,” the Gunners boss said
