Arsene Wenger has confirmed there has been a blow regarding the fitness of Hector Bellerin ahead of the clash with Watford in the Premier League on Sunday.
The Gunners endured a frustrating month of February which saw them lose more games in all competitions, as their hopes of finishing in the top four of the Premier League were dismissed.
Another concern for the Arsenal manager has been injury to key players at a time when he needs all of his options in the squad available.
Even though Hector Bellerin was not able to feature on Thursday night, the Gunners did well to secure a 2-0 victory over AC Milan on the road.
And ahead of the clash with Watford, Wenger has confirmed that the defender is yet to recover from his injury and therefore, will not feature this weekend.
“Hector Bellerin we don’t know yet, we have to see. He is not available for the weekend though.” the Arsenal manager said on Friday
The Spaniard has faced little to competition at right-back for Arsenal, especially after the exits of Carl Jenkinson and Mathieu Debuchy
