Arsene Wenger has been handed quite a boost on the injury front ahead of Saturday’s clash with Watford in the Premier League.
The Gunners are set to travel to Vicrage Road on the back of four games without defeat in the league ever since that 4-0 mauling at Liverpool.
Two key stars sidelined in recent weeks have been Mesut Ozil and Danny Welbeck who scored a brace against Bournemouth.
But Wenger has confirmed that the duo are now back and available for selection on Saturday.
“He [Ozil] was not available for Germany, but he is now available yes.” the Arsenal manager said
“He had a whole week training, he is maybe not completely back physically to his best but he is available. There is no problem anymore.”
The Arsenal manager then added that Welbeck, who has been plagued by injuries in recent years, will not remain on the sidelines for too long this time.
“He is available for selection again. He is a bit quicker than expected.”
