Arsene Wenger has finally spoken on the possibility of agreeing to offload two of his most valuable players with the January transfer window just over a month away.

The Arsenal boss only managed to sign two players during the summer transfer window, much to the disappointment of fans who then saw the likes of Gabriel and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain leave.

Another concerning issue for Wenger’s side has been the commitment of key duo Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil who are yet to renew their contracts at the club.

Various rumours have suggested that the two players will have to be sold by the club for profit in the winter.

And according to Wenger, a decision will be made in late December on whether a transfer move will be completed for Sanchez and Ozil.

“No decision has been made on that front,” Wenger said.

“Do we let anyone go in January? We’ll have to think about that to see where we stand with them at the end of December.”
