Wenger hits out at group of Arsenal players who let him down against Tottenham
Arsene Wenger has not hidden his frustration after watching his team fail to earn even a point from Sunday’s north London derby.
The Gunners boss decided to stick to most of the players who featured in the win over Leicester City, as Nacho Monreal once again started at centre-back against Spurs.
However, an early second half dominance from Mauricio Pochettino’s side saw the score two quick-fire to put the game to bed.
And according to Wenger, the defending from his team in the build-up to Tottenham’s second goal was not acceptable.
“Honestly, I haven’t seen it again.” he responded when asked about whether his side could’ve done in stopp
“I have to watch it from the bench, it was not very clear.
“We just looked that we were not outnumbered, but we had six against two or three. It was soft defending.”
