Arsene Wenger has responded to rumours linking him with a move to a different club after this season is brought to an end.
Arsenal’s disappointing run of results in the Premier League and Champions League has heaped more pressure on the Frenchman after two decades at the club.
Recent reports have suggested that Wenger has agreed to remain at the club for another year despite continued protests from frustrated fans.
However, there have also been rumours indicating that Paris Saint-Germain have approached the Arsenal manager about a move to Ligue 1 this summer.
Those who are eager for Wenger to leave the club would have seen a move to PSG as the idle situation but the Gunners boss has now categorically declined any chances of that happening.
“It is a false rumour, that is what you call ‘fake news’.” Wenger said in an interview
“I formally deny it, it is not true.”
