Arsene Wenger has hinted of a potential Arsenal departure after revealing that he will keep his medal from Saturday’s triumph.

The Gunners manager has claimed in the past that he never keeps medals he receives from winning trophies and often hands it to a staff member who did not get one.

However, Wenger insists he will break the habit and keep hold of the medal from Saturday’s FA Cup victory over Chelsea because it was a ‘special night’.

“I have kept my medal so that means it is a special night,” the Gunners boss said

The Frenchman also revealed that the decision over his Arsenal future is likely to be announced next week after a meeting with the club’s hierachy.

“For the rest, we will see what happens.” he added

“Let us enjoy this win and not worry about the future.”

“We have a board meeting on Tuesday, and on Wednesday or Thursday it will be very clear.”
