Arsene Wenger has added more on the injury update about Alexandre Lacazette as the striker continues to inch closer to a return to action.
After a very long transfer saga, the 26-year-old finally decided to move to the Emirates stadium from Olympique Lyonnais during last summer.
Lacazette enjoyed a relatively impressive beginning to his career in north London despite Arsenal’s inconsistent start to the campaign.
However, the former Ligue 1 star’s form went in the wrong direction ahead of the second half of the season before the arrival of Pierre Emerrick-Aubameyang.
Lacazette has been nursing a knee injury which he suffered after his appearance in the 1-0 defeat away to Tottenham Hotspur back in early February.
Wenger revealed last week that the France international was on his way back and ahead of the Europa League clash against AC Milan on Thursday, the manager added more to the injury update.
“Yes, he’s on track. He had a full session outside today [ahead of Milan game] and should be available after the break.” the Arsenal boss said
