Arsene Wenger has revealed the latest fitness worry for his squad ahead of this weekend’s fixture in the Premier League.
The Gunners are preparing to travel to Everton after securing a last-gasp 1-0 victory over Red Star Belgrade in the Europa League on Thursday.
As usual, Wenger has been hit with a few injury blows so far this season as he looks to end the club’s 13-year title drought.
And ahead of the trip to Goodison Park, the Arsenal manager has revealed that Danny Welbeck, who limped off during last Saturday’s clash with Watford, will not be featuring on Sunday.
“Welbeck is out. He has a groin problem, I think it will be two to three weeks before he is back.” Wenger said
“He will not be back before the international break.”
The England international was gradually looking to overcome his frequent injury problems this season but Welbeck is set for another spell on the sidelines.
