Arsene Wenger has revealed one of the players who are not likely to be included in the team which features in the Europa League on Thursday.

The Gunners boss has seen his side surprise many doubters by defeating Italian contenders AC Milan in the previous round to book a place in the quarter-finals of the Europa League.

Wenger and his men are now preparing for what could be a tricky test against Russian outfit CSKA Moscow in the first leg of the tie.

However, there are a few fitness worries for the Arsenal manager and that includes veteran goalkeeper Petr Cech.

The former Chelsea shot-stopper is currently on the sidelines due to an injury, prompting David Ospina to make a rare start in the Premier League against Stoke City on Sunday.

And even though Wenger has admitted that Cech’s condition has proved, the Gunners boss believes his first-choice goalkeeper is not likely to be available for Thursday’s game.

“He’s better today. He will maybe go out for a little session now.” the Arsenal manager said after the game on Sunday.

“I still think he will be short for Thursday.”
