Alex Iwobi, Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez will be the first three players to sign a new contract with Arsenal this summer according to latest claims.

The Gunners ended a season of frustration on a positive note on Sunday as a 4-0 victory over Aston Villa proved enough to beat north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur to a second-place finish.

Arsene Wenger’s priority has been to persuade some of his valuable players Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez and Alex Iwobi to commit their futures to Arsenal following rumours of interest from other clubs.

And according to the Sun, club officials will be meeting with representatives of the trio next week to finalize an agreement over their respective new deals.

Despite rumours of being unsettled in London, Sanchez has reportedly agreed to join Ozil is signing a new contract which will see the two superstars raise their wages to around £190,000 per-week – the highest the club as has ever paid a player in history.

Nigerian youngster Iwobi is also set to put pen to paper on a new deal which will see him earn £30,000 per-week after making 24 appearances for the first team this season.

Arsenal are expected to announce at least one of the three deals before the start of next month’s Euro 2016 tournament in France.
