Arsene Wenger admits he has been left with a lot to rue following the 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace on Sunday.
The Gunners squandered a leading position for the second consecutive weekend as Yanick Bolasie’s strike canceled out a first-half goal from Alexis Sanchez to share the points.
With Arsenal now 13 points adrift of league leaders Leicester City, Wenger has refused to hide his disappointment, agreeing that his side will not win the Premier League title this season.
“I’m responsible for the result and I think I’m the first person who is frustrated. I can say that at the moment, we will make complete balance at the end of the season and see where we stand. At the moment it is about being together and giving our best until the end of the season.” the Arsenal manager said
“After today I’m not in that kind of mood to dream about the Premier League title. I’m more in a mood to repair the mental damage and prepare for the next game.
“It is much more about that and looking behind us because we need to play well and win games. For us, we need to fight until the end to get the place in the top four. If we can do more, we will do more but lets not dream and focus on the next game.”
