Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny scored a memorable goal for his country in Sunday’s Africa Cup of Nations final.
The 24-year-old has been on duty with the Egyptian national team for the past month as the tournament takes place in Gabon.
Elneny was struggling with a calf problem at this time last week as Arsene Wenger’s injury crisis was made even worse.
However, the former Basel star managed to recover just before Sunday’s cup final against Cameroon.
And after being handed a big start, Elneny rewarded Egypt’s coach with a sublime goal in the first half.
