What Mesut Ozil has posted after Bournemouth game on Wednesday
Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil took to social media to share his delight with the fans after helping the team secure all of the three points against Bournemouth on Wednesday evening.
The former Real Madrid star has been the subject of much debate once again this season after being often left out of the squad by new Arsenal manager Unai Emery.
Indeed, Ozil had been fit for several weeks but was only handed his first start in months just recently as the Gunners thrashed BATE Borisov in the Europa League.
The 30-year-old returned to the bench in the 2-0 win over Southampton over the weekend even though he did manage to make an appearance as he replaced Aaron Ramsey in the second half.
Ozil was given a place back in the starting eleven on Wednesday evening and he repaid the manager’s faith in him by scoring and setting up another goal.
After the final whistle, the midfielder had nothing but good words to share with the fans on Twitter…
#YaGunnersYa 😎💥 Five-Star team performance tonight! Happy for everyone at the club and for all the fans! 🤙🏼#WeAreTheArsenal #M1Ö #COYG @Arsenal pic.twitter.com/rL5ZuWUw3C
