don’t they still owe us cash from the diarra deal? or has that been resolved? given the myriad of goalkeeping clowns we have at the club surely we should be biting their hands off if james became available.
wud dindane sole the fox in the box problem,arshivn drifts in and out of games,bentner needs a few chances,eduardo cant score tis season..and also maybe belhadj..clichy loss of form is very worrying also.

Most logical choice is David James considering our goalkeeping department being the weakest at the moment.

James is a million times better than all the keepers we have now, and Frederic Piquone could give us a physical presence up front….Bendtner does not do it for me

Most people/fans calling for changes in our goalkeeping department are obviously reacting to the torrid time Fabianski had against Porto. Personally I think that we ougt to tighten up defensively and only tinker with the goalkeeping area as a last resort. If it were not for our defensive frailities against Man U we would not be where we’re today!
Arsenal must attack as a team and likewise defend! How many times do you see Drogba in his own box defending?

I think Wenger will have a word with Sol Campbell, he has worked with these players and should be able to give an unbiase report.
But definately James would be my choice, our goalkeepers are a liability.
Fabianski is a liability. I struggle to tyhink of a time when he has played confidently and consistently. In fact his first game for the club was in the Emirates tournament when he jumped for the ball and landed outside the area without letting go. The ref looked the other way because it was basically a knockabout. But he needs to go. It’s not a knee jerk reaction to want him gone. He really really is shit and should never disgrace our goal ever again. He’s a joke and doesn’t know the basics of the game. Like not picking up a backpass and not scoring own goals. I mean what else is there we can teach if he can’t get those right. The arse. Agree on James definately and Begovic did go to Stoke, he was due to be Sorenson’s replacement when we were buying him. But as usual we dicked around and missed out and it’s cost us dear. I dunno how much longer I can bother watching this shower of shit. WENGER OUT!!!!!!

Can you all remember when man united lost schmiechel and they had a few clowns between the sticks like barthez, roy caroll, etc. Anyways after 2-3 seasons they managed to nab van der sar and a legend was born. In my personal opinion wenger is a mug for getting Given before City came calling. There are only two realistic goalkeepers i feel are within our grasp. They are also within the premier league and have all it takes to be our no.1 we have been waiting for.
The first one is Jussi Jaskelanen and the other one is Jo Hart. Jo Hart will want to play every game. He will not be able to do this at City. Shay Given has at least 5 more years in him.
Dont let these two slip away wenger!!! It is very very likely that one or both will move in the summer.
Ad, I was gonna like your status, til the Arsene out but. A lit of the blames gotta fall on the first team coach and keeper coaches shoulders. There the ones saying Flapycunty is suitable for first team football at our club. Same goes for Manuel Fawlty.

How low have arsenal got? I am not sayung players like hreidarsson ,piqiuone or dindane are shit but surely they are below our standards. Get rid of fabianski or almunia or both. They are a bunch of clowns. If they were at pompey they wouldnt be able to sell them as no team would want them….. except us!

Wenger, meanwhile, has backed the under-fire Fabianski but refused to say whether he would play against Sunderland tomorrow. Arsenal’s first-choice goalkeeper, Manuel Almunia, was due to have a fitness test on his injured finger today.

i would prefer james given our goalkeepers are crap, and i would take piquionne due to the fact that bendner isn’t good enough.
I agree with Gooner. We should invest in those young goalkeepers. Piquionne would give us depth, but then again he is far below the arsenal standard. If anything Belhadj would be the only one we should take and that’s a stretch. Arsenal will bounce back. The keeper problems will be resolved.
Dindane is on Loan at Pompey..
James is too old.. there is no point paying for a 40 year old with injury probs who may only play 20-30 more games b4 retiring..
the points he could win for pompey is wroth more to them than tiny fee for old man…
belhadj a maybe… but gotta give clichy time to get form back… he has been very poor… but we know he has potential to be world class.. if sign belhadj.. what does that say for k Gibbs… he will need chances next season when fit again.. and also Traore… not my fav but not bad 3rd choice….
but if we are honest.. all the better players have been sold already…

James. Piquionne and Dindane don’t have the quality over Bendtner or Eduardo. Trust me everyone would be frustrated with those two. Prince Boateng is an ex yid and is shit, Belhadj is not needed. At left back we have Clichy, Gibbs, Traore and Silvestre. Left mid we have Arshavin, Nasri, Rosicky, Diaby, Vela, Eduardo
We should buy their goalkeeping coach. We should be the laughing stocks as far as keepers are concerned.I would prefer mannone anytime. I would also like to see Scesny back from loan and get some odd games with the first team. He might just solve our problems

kvp and belhadj r the only two players with enough quality, and when it comes to goalies what is everyone thinkin, we could get joe hart. birmingham are offerin him first team football instead of man.c, if he can consider that he can consider us.
None, none and none. We should only be looking at goal keepers and outfield players who can help us win the PL and CL. Buying any of Portsmouth players is a backward.
