none , they are both fucking as shit as each other…. how embarrasing is it to see these guys line up against top opposition ??? senderos VS liverpool in champions league at anfield and he FLOPPED HARD and had a breakdown and Sylvestre VS BARCELONA …. BARCELONA !!!!! how can sylvestre play against them ??? …… im ashamed
Since Senderos is younger and perhaps has an edge over Silvestre in terms of potential, I feel this debate should be Cygan vs Silvestre for it to be fair.
Now we all know what they both have in common…pure quality.
But did you know they both wore the No. 18 for Arsenal? 😀

Is a great centre back who had one or two bad games against Drogba. name me which centre back has had a bad game against him. He has allowed his critics to affect his game, also the usual rabbied gooners have been on back which has affected his performance. he quick good in the air and got a good football brian.
surrey gunner – thats the problem with arsenal we have so called “good” centre backs….. senderos is not good hence why we arent offering him a new contract, and sylvestre…. dont get me started- he should be in a care home somewhere, not playing top level football

Senderos is young maybe we should give one more chance to prove – is he playing for his country in the World Cup that might say something. Silvestre didn’t come to us because SAF saw a future for him!! he is overthe hill and struggling each time I see him. Sell him ormaybe use his experience in the reserves and younger areas foradvice and training

No mate, the original argument was Senderos vs Silly. But I thought that wasn’t a fair debate so I changed it to Cygan vs Silly.
Who is better? Indeed a difficult question. All I can say is that they are both true professionals both on and off the pitch.

Neither, but I’d prefer Cygan just because Silvestre was a Manc scum. In regard to Senderos, he could’ve been a very good defender, but he has a weak mentality. One big mistake and it’s hard for him to overcome that. He plays very good once he has a few games with an older head next to him. From all the stuff I heard from Arsenal, he was one of the hardest workers on the team. But confidence issues and Wenger always messing about with him really affected him. I think he should move to Germany or France.

ermmm…based on experience then silvestre, but we got 2 mill…yes….TWO MILLION for cygan.
senderos is a good/average player, remember he helped keep consecutive clean sheets in the champions league for us, so hes not all that bad, hes just not a top four player atm (i add atm because his best years are still ahead of him and he could still prove doubters wrong.
they are both excatly the same in ability and unfortunately poorness.
