you shouldnt blame eduardo, i mean he comes back from a series of injuries and then has to adapt to a formation which doesnt suit him,and the guy who says we should sell diaby is a genuine dumbass.th DONKEY Sylvestre should go,loan Vela to Fulham and in exchange we get Hangeland,and we should keep Gallas due to his experience,maybe sell rosicky,hazard comes in for him,get Lloris or Frey,and sell Almunia.
The only players leaving should be Silvestre and Campbell. Team should add a goalkeeper (Gordon would be OK) a center back (Caceres would suite because of his versatility) and to bring back Nordveit from loan, implying off course that we are adding Chamakh and thats it. I believe it is important to keep the core of the team (Eduardo, Rosicky, Gallas… should be only a role players)

Clichy!!!!!!! Are u mad?. This guy is currently one of the top 3 left backs in the in the EPL along with Evra and Cole. Apart from Senderos and Silvestre I wouldn’t sell any of our squad. However I agree need 3 or 4 top signings down the spine of the team.

Fabianski, Silvestre, Senderos, Vela and Eduardo, all need to go. Not good enough for us Vela is but I’d rather he goes on to develop his career instead of warming our bench.

Like others here recently I have doubted Arshavens eagerness to play for us. Seems tired and bored – send him home maybe he is homesick. However we should becareful HOW we let players go. Some will not bring in a dime. I know it is the old song but some of those alleged reserves Wilshire an Co would be like new signings. Not sure about Eduardo if he came thru next year he could be brilliant – give him
one more year. Silvestre should go we will not get a dime for this worn out old horse. Fergy didn,t let he go because he had a future!!!! becareful but make some changes. Some folk talk about certain new playersetc… there is never a guarentee we shall get them
no world cup for arshavin, will be good for his arsenal form next season, and lets be honest his form doesnt lead to a move to barca, unless we got yaya or bojan in exchange, as for the players that need to leave, i dont think there are that many, i do feel however we have alot of players that need a run of football injury free before we can see if they can turn potential into genuine world class ability, diaby, denilson, and walcott all need another season before they can truly be examined, all are jackle and hide type characters.
players i potentially could see moving on are obviously silvestre, senderos, traore, and eboue, i also believe if bendtner has a good world cup and an offer from a german team came in, he could go, otherwise i do feel eduardo could leave, although i think wenger will give him one more season to prove he can return, the same applies to rosicky, who personally i feel if he can return to his previous best could be a huge player for us still.
I do believe we still lack a dominating dm, song has improved dramitcally but i feel a towering presence with a bit more pace could suit aswell, obvious changes at cb aswell, personally i dont think hangerlaand will do week in week out at cl level.
all in all we are three changes shy of being close to a dominating force again, but now, more than ever, some of the dead wood does need to be moved on, and some money needs to be invested for this to happen.

We will sign one experienced defender someone who between 25-28. I am still not sure if Norvedit will play for us next season he hasn’t played regularly for a small german club so I doubt he will make it.
I am sure we wil sign a 19 year old youngster Stefan Savic and keep sol as a temporay CB (pay as you play basis maybe)

How quick are you guys to forget that all the players you guys have stated have at one point in time this season saved our ass? Sure they had a couple of bad stints but nobody has played that bad they deserve to be sacked. If I’m looking at it correctly we are only 3 points back of the top considering we have played with 3/4 of a squad all year.

Bendtner. I know, I know, he’s saved our ass multiple times, but he wouldn’t have to score in the 90th if he hadn’t missed 2-3 sitters earlier in the match. He’s not fast or skilled enough to cut it for this Arsenal team.
Silvestre. He just looks lost out there. With Gallas, Verm, Djouro and Campell, we have the middle covered.
Eduardo. I HATE to say this, but he’s just been sub-par for too long, he has failed to contribute much of anything.
Denilson (MAYBE!) Only if it funds the purchase of a more well rounded CDM. (I do like Denilson though, he gets over criticized.)

thats a good list but i would not let djourou go and would like a left footed pacey left mid/winger (di maria) we do not have a left mid in our team thats why we cant play 442 coz if we play arshavin , vela or any other forward thee then it puts to much pressure on clichy and when we put diaby there he absolutely sucks but he is more influential in the miidle my list for incommers would be chaill, melo, chamak,green or frey di maria or silva and wilshare as back up also remember chamaks height is of no use if we dont have good players with good crossing ability.
Actually the first person to go i think he should be duardo coz its like his career will never be perfect after breaking his leg.The second person and whom i always pray everyday to go is Arshavin because once aplayer sees himself as a best player and start looking his own teammates there will be no respect at all,coz this has already lost his confidence in Arsenal squade which has led him to perform very poorly coz he always see that he does not deserve to be in a team like Arsenal.So i feel that Arshavin should go.
Having thought about this carefully I think we need quality over quantity. There are actually quite a few players to be shown the door, either because they’re not good enough to wear the red/White of Arsenal or they’re attitude is lacking and they think they can coast through the season. In defence we can’t afford to lose anyone without replacements, it looks like Sol, Silvestre and Gallas will be leaving all due to old age. In midfield I would love to see Denilson either shown the door or have a rocket up his arse! The other major first team players to go would be Eduardo and Vela. Eduardo hasn’t recovered from his injury which is a pity and I have no idea what’s happened to Carlos!
Eduardo was never good enough. His injury causes people to forget that. They say, ‘He’s’s just getting back to fitness, that’s why he is so ridiculously slow’. He was never quick, or tricky, or strong, or anything other than a decent finisher. And now he’s lost the one aspect of his game in which he excelled; what does that make him? Useless.
Arshavin IS in the top three players at the club (along with VP and Fabregas), why on earth would anyone want him to go? He is ABSOLUTE class. He also is one of the only players that is willing to play with a knock, which he has done for the majority of the season very well.
The truth is, Arsenal don’t NEED to sign anyone except an acceptable keeper. This club has been almost LAUGHABLY unlucky with injuries for so many seasons! The starting 11 is world class at almost EVERY position. RVP, Arshavin, Fabregas, Song, Clichy, Sagna, Vermaelen, Bendtner, Rosicky, Nasri, Gallas, Diaby, Walcott, even Eboue- there’s a reason that every one of them is a regular for their national team! If any one of these players left, it would be a disaster without adequate replacement.
I just pray that for ONE season (just one, God), everyone stays relatively fit, so we don’t have to throw Silvestre onto the field at Camp Nou at least.

From back to front Fabianski should go and keep Almunia as a number 2. Silvestre and maybe even Sol depending on who we bring in. Denilson isn’t anywhere near good enough either. I would also sell Arshavin, he’s not a team player and has looked disinterested all year. He’s also a bit self opinionated with some of the comments he comes out with on his own website, plus he would fetch a reasonable transfer fee. Tomas Rosicky, Carlos Vela and Eduardo are allmon borrowed time but deserve another season to get to the level they should be at.
All the above would only apply is we were to bring new (good) players in to replace them. Our squad us already thread bare and penny pinching is not the way forward.

2 seasons and I have not been convinced by Denilson. Almunia is a weak link as well. They can be sold. We can buy Nigel Reo-Coker for the mid-field. I believe the calls to sell Eduardo are a bit premature. Why not sell Vela as well on the same grounds??
Diaby always bottles big games, couldn’t stay on his feet against barca way out of his depth and his work rate sucks never tracks back when he loses the ball or to help someone else. Get rid!

I think Eduardo, Mannone, Arshavin and Traore are excess. Alumunia should be dropped to back-up. I know I’ll get ripped for suggesting this, but with Burnley dropping, wouldn’t Jensen be a nice goalkeeper? Big and brave and much better at dealing with the Stokes of the EPL.

I might want to change my thoughts. First and formost I think that Wegner over the last three years has been trying to build a team, a team that is unified and plays as a team. I think he has done a good job of getting rid of the cancers and has put a lot of faith into his youngsters. I know I said we shouldn’t get rid of anyone but I think I want to change that.
Who are the possible cancers on the team (based of negativity and poor attitude)
-Arshavin – unload him for $15
-Fran (based of the fact he doesn’t want to sign a contract)
-Gallas – although he has been pretty positive this year
You get rid of those three and with the Senderous $ we should have about $25 million just from that.
With that purchase the whiz kid Hazard to replace AA and then use the rest to fill in the places where we need the bodies. CDM, CM and GK
Sagna and Eboue are a good rotation
Gibbs and Clichy are a good rotation
I do think that Vito should get a promotion over Fab

This is a good solid team, yeah we have some weak points but what team doesn’t? Chelsea are going to be old, they are an injury away from being done. Manure can’t play without Rooney. City will try to buy their team but their egos will get in the way, and Pool will have a hard time trying to stay fit.
I think we are in good shape for the future and have faith that Wegner will buy/develop this team to greatness.

The rumour last year was Vela on loan to Fulham as part of any deal for Hangelaand, so I’m assuming Roy Hodgson has an interest in Carlos.
Traore is from Paris, and has said he wants to play there some day. We have a plethora of left-backs, especially with Botelho behind Gibbs and Clichy. Sahko is 6’4″, 20 years old and on the verge of being CB for the French national team.
Ribery is out of Bayern for sure, just the question is where. Arshavin should hold a 16 million value we paid for him still… Ribery is said to be worth 30 million, that means we pay out 15-16 million for a more sturdier, harder working version of Arshavin? We do it, no questions. Ribery has said he admires Man U and Arsenal.
Lloris would be a gem, don’t know if we could pry him loose, but aparently Lyon is saying they are interested in Eduardo.
Chamahk is all but confirmed, as I read it.
I imagine too that we will be signing Lacina Traore and Wellington da Silva, but neither one of them are eligible to play in England next year.
All told, the deals cost Arsenal 30 million or so… we have that money (or at least are told we do).
It’s important too that we don’t squash the quality youth we’ve got coming up… Barcelona are proof that growing talent in-house is the way to do it.
Even if we come second this year, I’ve been thrilled, and with a few key moves, we’ll be very powerful next year.

Apart from Fab and the V man at the back. Have we got a world class team? I think not, not when we can look back at the players we used to have. To that end I fell that we should get rid of the following

This I feel is a realistic list but I could add Diady ( goes missing in big games) Walcott ( at the moment only an impact player as he runs out of ideas after 30 mins )and Rosicky ( not much of an end product to his game ). But to add those would not be realistic to add to my original list above. The most important point about selling any player is to complete the transaction by purchasing a replacement. This AW has failed to do in the past.
We have done well to date with the injuries that we have had but this is not a new situation to be in. Ok its the worst with 7 fracture injuries ( I think this could go down as another record under our belts for coping so well )Last year we had lots of injuries and the year before that. We have not got strength in depth and when Fab is not playing then we have no direction.
What we have got is a good team structure. With a few key players we could have that world beating team. But those key players must be quality ( not in another five years but now )
I am disapointed with Arshavin for not delivering/ matching his potential of last year. Walcott for going backward in his progress from date of purchase and Diaby. So he spent some time in the gym in his own time but to what end?
Where would we be without Fab!And for the few that have stepped up being Song, Vermaelen, Gallas and Nasri, well done.
But let us not forget. The only true quality player we have is Fab. Van the man is good but only better than Bentner. He is not a regular 20+ goals a season man ( prone to the odd injury! ) We need more quality players in key positions to move us from also ran to genuine condenders.
Diaby is worth keeping – he lacks decision making skills, but that will come with age (he’s only 22). Walcott also – he’s 22.
I think people forget that for the most part, aside from the prodigies like Messi, Fabregas, Ronaldo, Rooney, et al, that most very good players don’t hit their prime until 25, 26. I say give most of our guys another 3-4 years before pulling the plug on them.
