The Gunners will be in search of their fourth straight win in all competitions when they welcome Aston Villa to the Emirates stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Bernd Leno is expected to start in goal as usual, so the main choices will be about who plays in the back four right infront of him.

Gabriel, who was immense at Old Trafford last week, should start along David Luiz, a player who has become not just a rock at the back but an unlikely source of creativity as well due to his occasional cutting edge passes.

Hector Bellerin and Kieran Tierney have also been impressive of late and therefore their spots at full-back should be kept.

In midfield, Thomas Partey and Mohamed Elneny – two in-form players – will easily walk into the starting eleven. But for the purposes of having more creativity, Dani Ceballos should be in there instead of Granit Xhaka.

Up front, there has to be some sort of balance and that means Aubameyang moving back into his preferred centre-foward role with Willian coming in for Lacazette, while Pepe starts on the right.

PREDICTED TEAM

Leno

Bellerin – Gabriel – Luiz – Tierney

Ceballos – Partey – Elneny

Pepe – Aubameyang – Willian
