‘Worst Arsenal player ever’ – Fans attack Arsenal star after his display vs Man City on Thursday

Arsenal supporters have not been afraid to air their views on social media, following the latest defeat at home to Manchester City on Thursday night.

The Gunners are enduring a very underwhelming campaign which has seen them fail to challenge for a place in the top four of the Premier League as Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United continue to pull away.

Last weekend saw Arsene Wenger’s men suffer a humbling defeat to Manchester City in the final of the Carabao Cup at Wembley stadium.

With Pep Guardiola’s men back in town on Thursday night, many fans feared matters would not improve for Arsenal and as it turned out, they were not wrong by any means.

Goals from Bernado Silva, David Silva and an in-form Leroy Sane saw the Gunners lose the game in the first half as they went into the break behind by three goals.

Featuring on Thursday was Danny Welbeck, who was given another chance to reclaim a regular place in the starting eleven.

However, the former Manchester United striker’s performance did not appear to impress too many fans…
