‘Worst ever, He should never play for Arsenal again’ – Twitter bashes Gunner after Spurs draw
A majority of the Arsenal faithful have directed their frustration towards one of Arsene Wenger’s substitutes following the 1-1 draw with Tottenham Hotspur.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side had fallen behind to an own goal by Kevin Wimmer late in the first half but a penalty-kick dispatched by Harry Kane minutes after the restart meant Arsenal had to settle for a point in the north London derby.
Several players from the Gunners’ attacking unit who have been in inspiring form for much of this campaign so far found it hard to make a telling contribution against a Tottenham side who are yet to lose a game in the Premier League this season.
One of Wenger’s attempts to fire up a below-par Arsenal show in the second-half saw him bring on Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain for Theo Walcott with 20 minutes to go.
And it is safe to say that the 23-year-old’s cameo did not impress too many fans…
Worst cameo appearance by the Ox since that time Eboue went off crying

Absolutely disgraceful. Never want to see Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in an Arsenal shirt again. Worst performance I've ever seen.

I thought Iwobi was poor. Well…yes but that was until I saw Oxlade Chamberlain. Dude came on to play against us in the last 20 minutes.

I see the Ox is today's scapegoat, although all the subs didn't add anything. Players weren't clinical.

You're telling me Joel Campbell and Serge Gnabry were considered worse options than the Ox?
