Several Arsenal players failed to escape criticism on Tuesday as Bayern Munich won 5-1 at the Emirates stadium.
Arsene Wenger’s men ended their Champions League campaign on a very embarrassing note with their worst home defeat in the competition.
One of the players who had been dropped from the starting eleven was Olivier Giroud but Danny Welbeck’s illness meant the Frenchman was brought straight back into the line-up before kick-off.
The former Montpellier striker managed to feature for 72 minutes before being replaced Lucas Perez, a man many preferred to see anyway.
And it is safe to say the fans were not impressed by Giroud’s display….

Still no Lucas? Baffling

Watching Giroud last night. Probably the worst player I've ever seen in the flesh. Awful footballer.

I'm not sure I can handle Giroud starting another game this season
