It appears that a majority of the fans were not exactly impressed by the performance of at least one of Arsenal’s midfielders in the 2-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion.

The Gunners continued their unbeaten run in all competitions with another useful result as two goals from Alexandre Lacazette secured all the three points against a stubborn West Brom team.

With Mesut Ozil only fit enough to make the bench, Arsene Wenger’s most notable change on Monday night was Mohamed Elneny returning to the starting eleven.

The Egyptian international was teamed up in midfield with Granit Xhaka whose errors were exposed on more than one occasion by Tony Pulis’ determined side.

Many gooners were delighted by another clean-sheet for the Arsenal defence but the midfield, which was led by Xhaka, appeared less reliable.

Thus, the Switzerland international, who featured for the entire 90 minutes, did not receive too many praises from the fans after the final whistle…
