£100,000-a-week star wants to secure move to Arsenal – report
The Gunners appear to have received some encouragement in their pursuit of a new full-back, with one of Mikel Arteta’s transfer targets seemingly keen on a move to the Emirates stadium this summer.
With most Arteta’s main options in the left-back position proving to be injury prone, the Gunners’ boss has been linked with Paris Saint-Germain star Layvin Kurzawa.
Thus, Sport are reporting that out of all the teams who have spoken to Kurzawa, Arsenal is the club that the player wants to complete a move to this summer.
The Frenchman, who earns £100,000 per week, will see his contract with PSG expire this summer, prompting the need for a move elsewhere.
Kurzawa is suggested to be keen on a move to north London, several months after being on the Gunners’ radar during the January transfer window earlier this year.
The fact that neither Sead Kolasinac nor Kieran Tierney are capable of staying fit has handed youngster Bukayo Saka a regular place at left-back but should Kurzawa join the Gunners, it remains unclear who would permanently lose their spot in the side.
