Mesut Ozil has been urged by Germany teammate Julian Draxler to complete a move away from Arsenal this summer.

The 28-year-old star will be entering the final year of his contract at the Emirates stadium after this season is brought to an end.

That has prompted rumours suggesting that Ozil is likely to secure a move elsewhere this summer after nearly four years in north London.

The former Real Madrid star has been linked with a transfer to PSG, Bayern Munich and a host of big clubs around Europe.

However, his countryman Draxler has called for Ozil to consider a move to Paris.

“I would love to play with him every day,” Draxler told BBC World Service.

“For me, he’s a great player. I enjoy to play with him for every training, every match with the German national team.”

“Yes, I think he’s a great player. He would help every team in the world and I think he would enjoy the life here and even to play for PSG.”
