Arsenal loanee Jon Toral insists he will have to hold a discussion with the club over his future after a successful spell at Birmingham City.
The Spaniard, who moved to north London from Barcelona in 2011, has been in impressive form for the second division side, attracting interest from Birmingham City boss Gary Rowett over a permanent move from Arsenal.
Following the emergence of youngsters like Hector Bellerin and Alex Iwobi, Arsene Wenger has been encouraged to promote more promising talent into the first team.
However, Toral has revealed it remains unclear whether he will be featuring for the Gunners’ senior squad next season after nearly half a decade at the club.
“I’ll go back to Arsenal and then we’ll decide from there,” the 21-year-old told the London Evening Standard.
“I’ll play pre-season there and see what the future holds for me. I need to talk to Arsenal and we’ll decide what’s best for me.
