David Ospina is set to complete a switch to Arsenal football club tomorrow.

Red London understands that the Colombian goalkeeper is expected at London Colney on Monday afternoon to go through the formalities of his transfer to the Emirates stadium.

Following talks which lasted for over two weeks, the Gunners have come to an agreement with Nice over a £3.6 million deal which will see Ospina become Arsenal’s third signing of the summer.

Ospina who represented an impressive Colombian squad at the 2014 FIFA World Cup, will fill the void left by Swansea City’s Lukasz Fabianski.

The 25-year-old is used to the role of a second-choice goalkeeper at Nice but his displays in Brazil suggested that he will be challenging Wojciech Szczęsny for the no. 1 spot.

Ospina is now set to put pen to paper on a five-year contract at Arsenal before he joins up with the squad at the end of July.
