Full-back sends emotional message to old club after agreeing Arsenal transfer
One of Arsenal’s latest signings of the summer transfer window has sent out an emotional message to his old club and their fans after agreeing to move to the Emirates stadium this summer.
New Arsenal manager Unai Emery has made sure to make as many moves as possible to improve his squad for next season, after being chosen as the man to replace Arsene Wenger in May.
The first new signing to be secured under Emery was Stephan Lichtsteiner, who has decided to move to the Emirates stadium, following the expiration of his contract at Juventus.
The 34-year-old sent out a warm message to the Arsenal faithful about his transfer to north London officially being completed on Sunday and his other move was for his old club’s fans.
Lichtsteiner also published an emotional message for the Juventus faithful over the weekend as he brought an end to a memorable career in the Italian top-flight.
Today is my last official day as Juventino. It was an incredible honour for me to wear this jersey day in and day out for the past 7 years. I hope you will continue your huge success story in the next years. Thank you dear juventini, you‘ll be always in my heart. #FinoAllaFine pic.twitter.com/ufhgbIPswL
