‘He has been excellent’ – Some fans are praising this Arsenal star after Burnley show

Several Arsenal fans took to social media to react to the performance of one of the men who featured at the back for the Gunners against Burnley on Saturday.

Unai Emery decided to make a number of changes to his starting eleven for the clash with Burnley who have a reputation of being very tough to break down when playing away from home.

Following Wednesday night’s defeat to fierce north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur, a few Arsenal players were criticized by some fans.

Featuring for the Gunners again on Saturday was Sokratis, who is still settling into the team after moving to the Emirates stadium during the summer.

The former Dortmund star was recently suspended after being issued too many yellow cards and he was back in action to show more of his aggressive nature this weekend.

Sokratis has proven to be a little hot-headed on a few occasions but the Arsenal fans are loving him so far.

Thought Sokratis had a really good game, a bit over-zealous in a few challenges but made crucial tackles and won so many duels.

He’s basically running our defence on his own right now so full credit to him.
