Most Arsenal fans did not hide their frustration over the performance of one player in particular despite the vital 1-0 victory over Newcastle on Saturday.

Arsene Wenger’s men went into the clash with the Magpies having failed to win any of their three previous games against Manchester Untied, Southampton and West Ham.

However, the Gunners managed to secure their first league win of December courtesy of a brilliant volley from Mesut Ozil in the first half of the game.

It was another match which saw Granit Xhaka start in midfield as he continues to get used to the important defensive midfield role under Wenger.

And it appears as though the 25-year-old’s performance did not impress too many fans even though the team did well to win in the end…
