Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol has revealed the latest regarding the possibility of Juventus manager Max Allegri joining the Gunners this summer.
Much to the surprise of many fans and pundits a couple of weeks ago, Wenger revealed that he had agreed to step down as manager at the end of 2017/18 season.
The announcement meant that following months of strong protests from agitated fans which resulted in ‘Wenger Out’ campaigns, the Frenchman would finally be surrendering his role as manager after 22 years at the club.
Several big names have been linked with the Arsenal job and Juventus boss Max Allegri has been one of them.
The Italian tactician has won yet another title in the Serie A this season but there have been rumours suggesting that he could still part ways with the Old Lady.
However, the chances of Allegri moving to Arsenal have been dismissed, based on the latest update from Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol.
Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri meeting club officials next week to discuss plans for next season:
“I’m happy at Juventus and I have an excellent relationship with the club.”
