Well-known Arsenal supporter Piers Morgan took to social media to send his plaudits to one of the players who featured against Watford on Sunday.
After a poor run of results in recent months, very few Arsenal players have attracted praises from what has been an angry fan base.
One of the men who has been bashed by fans in recent games is of course, Petr Cech.
The former Chelsea shot-stopper has endured an inconsistent career in north London after moving to the Emirates stadium during the summer of 2015.
Prior to Sunday, Cech had been waiting for his 200th clean sheet in the Premier League for quite a while, due to the team’s below-par form.
The veteran goal-keeper has also made a few high-profile mistakes during that period which has seen him apologise on Twitter on a couple of occasions.
But after the long wait, Cech saved a penalty-kick for the first time in his Arsenal career to earn that long-awaited 200th clean sheet on Sunday.
And that has seen him receive some plaudits from Piers Morgan…
Amazing achievement..congrats. ? https://t.co/6GNFPazPH0
