‘Another massive flop’ – Fans bash Arsenal star on Twitter despite Brighton win

 

Much of the Arsenal faithful were not delighted with the performance of the team’s midfield chief in the victory over Brighton on Sunday.

Arsene Wenger’s men extended their unbeaten run in the Premier League to four games courtesy of another solid display at the Emirates stadium.

Goals from Nacho Monreal and Alex Iwobi in each half decided the match as the Gunners climbed up to fifth place in the table.

The game saw Granit Xhaka take on the role of Arsenal’s main holding midfielder once again, shielding the three-man back line.

However, the 25-year-old’s performance did not impress most fans who are asking for more from the man who cost Wenger around £35 million in the summer of 2016.

Have enjoyed the AFC mini revival. Have been thinking that perhaps I was too negative.
But then I remembered that we have Mustafi and Xhaka.

Xhaka and Ramsey need to be more aware of the runs Lacazette is making.

Utilise him more.
