Arsenal have managed to secure the signing of another highly-rated young player with the next transfer window set to open.
During the summer, Arsene Wenger moved to complete deals for Granit Xhaka, Rob Holding, Takuma Asano, Shkodran Mustafi and Lucas Perez to immediately strengthen his options in the first team.
However, the Gunners have also refused to neglect the future of the club by scouting and bringing in youngsters with bright potential around the the globe.
And the latest recruit is Zech Medley who has agreed to join Arsenal on a scholarship deal after impressing the club’s coaching staff during a trial.
The 16-year-old had been with Chelsea since his childhood but the blues decided to release him just over a month ago.
Medley, who likes to feature as a defender, will immediately be included in Arsenal’s under-18 squad heading into the second half of the campaign.
