Arsene Wenger has offered a worrying injury update ahead on his side ahead of the busy run of fixtures during the festive period.

The Gunners will play more games in December than any other month this seaosn as the title race intensifies heading into the second half of the campaign.

Injuries have often proven to be the biggest threat to Arsenal’s title challenge in recent years with several key players being sidelined at vital times.

And according to Wenger, that troublesome trend has threatened to continue this season with Aaron Ramsey now joining Shkodran Mustafi out of action.

The Welsh midfielder missed the clash with Stoke City due to a hamstring problem which was the same sort of injury Mustafi succumbed to on Saturday.

“Well, of course we have lost Mustafi from the game against Stoke. I don’t believe that anybody else will be available from the players that were out.” Wenger said ahead of the midweek Premier League fixture

“Ramsey is still not ready and all the other players are still out.”
