The Gunners have confirmed that one of Unai Emery’s key players is carrying an injury ahead of the trip to Everton in the Premier League on Sunday.

Unai Emery saw his side defeat Newcastle United 2-0 in the Premier League on Monday night to maintain their fight for a place in the top four of the Premier League.

One of the best players from that game was Aaron Ramsey, who scored a vital goal in the first half of the match to open the scoring.

The 28-year-old, who had been at the club since the summer of 2018, has been in really good form ever since he agreed to join Juventus in the summer.

Ramsey was expected to be given another start by Unai Emery, but ahead of the clash with Everton, the club’s medical staff has confirmed that he is carrying an injury.

“Left groin. Being assessed ahead of Everton (a).” an update from the Arsenal official website said on Friday.

The Gunners will be hoping to move back up to third place when they visit Goodison Park this weekend.
