Another Arsenal player has joined Santi Cazorla on the long-term injury list as the Gunners look to redeem their form after the international break.

Arsene Wenger’s men have begun the 2017/18 season in underwhelming fashion after winning only one of their opening three games of the new campaign.

So far, what the Gunners have escaped is any more injuries to key first team stars with Santi Cazorla expected to remain on the sidelines for several months.

However, the Spaniard will be joined out of action by Krystian Bielik who is now recovering from surgery after undergoing an operation.

The Polish defender was expected to secure a loan move before the transfer window closed but his chances of breaking into the Arsenal first team this season have been hampered by a shoulder injury.

Bielik, who went down during the Under-23 team’s Premier League 2 win over Manchester City, has revealed on social media that he is likely to remain out of action until December.
