Unai Emery appears to have identified the players who could potentially be a replacement for Aaron Ramsey as the Welshman prepares for his departure in the summer.

The Gunners have said goodbye to several star players over the past decade due to contract disagreements and that trend has continued with Ramsey this season – only a year after Alexis Sanchez was controversially allowed to join Premier League rivals Manchester United for absolutely no financial profit.

The Welshman is expected to leave for free this summer and therefore, the club have been keeping an eye on various midfielders who can be brought in as a replacement.

According to Italian outlet Tuttomercatoweb, the Gunners are now eying a move for FC Porto star Hector Herrera.

The 28-year-old would definitely not command a high transfer fee and that is exactly what Arsenal are looking for with club owner Stan Kroenke once again reluctant to spend in the transfer market.
