Arsene Wenger has been handed some worrying news on the injury front ahead of this weekend’s clash with Newcastle at the Emirates stadium.
The Arsenal manager has seen his side fail to win any of their last three games in the league, a run which begun with the 3-1 defeat at home to Manchester United.
After dropping more points on the road against West Ham on Wednesday, Wenger is aware that things will have to change on Saturday.
But Arsenal’s attempt to redeem their form will be without key midfielder Aaron Ramsey who has now been ruled out of the fixture against Newcastle.
In fact, the 26-year-old is expected to be out of action for three weeks at least due to another troublesome hamstring problem he has picked up.
“Aaron Ramsey won’t be available.” the Arsenal manager said ahead of Saturday’s game
“He’ll be out for a bit longer. Perhaps three weeks so he’s not in contention.”
