Arsenal have made an offer to agree a new deal with one of the most important players at the club ahead of next season.
Unai Emery is believed to be keen on tying down as many key players as possible to new long-term contracts before the new campaign kicks off next month.
According to a report by the Daily Star, Arsenal have offered Aaron Ramsey a new deal at club.
The reports states that the new contact offer is for a five-year deal for the midfielder, who had much of the summer off, due to Wales’ failure to qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Ramsey was one of the best performers for Arsenal last season even though the Gunners failed to secure a place in the top four of the Premier League.
The 27-year-old has been with Arsenal since the summer of 2008, when he agreed to move to north London after leaving Cardiff City.
