Arsenal man breaks silence on social media after catching virus
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta, who is the first man at the club to be diagnosed with coronavirus, has taken to social media for the first time to send out a message about his condition, amidst concern from fans.
The Gunners were last in action almost a week ago when they faced West Ham in the Premier League at the Emirates stadium.
The clash with the Hammers saw Arsenal win 1-0 courtesy of a goal from Alexandre Lacazette but the trip to Manchester City which was scheduled to follow on Wednesday was then cancelled due to concerns over the spread of coronavirus.
A day later, Mikel Arteta was tested positive for the virus which first plagued China and has now spread across the rest of the world.
After the news over his health was made public yesterday, Arteta took to social media to send out an upbeat message to the Arsenal faithful on Friday.
