Arsene Wenger appears to have made a move to finally agree the signing of a new midfielder to shore up his squad according to reports.
The Gunners are now sitting outside of the top four of the Premier League again after failing to win both of their last two games in the competition against Manchester United and Southampton.
That has seen many fans and pundits urge Wenger to secure the addition of a new holding midfielder to improve the currently feeble spine of his team.
And according to reports, Arsenal have answered those cries by making a decisive move to sign Steven N’Zonzi.
The claim by Spanish outlet El Gol, is suggesting that the Gunners have actually reached an agreement with Sevilla over a £35.3 million deal which can be completed during the January transfer window.
Signing the highly-rated N’Zonzi could put Aaron Ramsey or Granit Xhaka’s spot in the starting line-up in jeopardy, heading into the second-half of the season.
In addition to that, the likes of Mohamed Elneny and Francis Coquelin are likely to be unsettled by the possible acquisition of the Sevilla star.
