Arsenal now willing to sell key player for £18m fee this month
The Gunners appear to be so desperate to raise funds that the club is now willing to agree to sell one of Unai Emery’s key midfielders for a decent profit this month.
Arsenal were cheap spenders during the summer transfer window and the club does not seem to be interested in changing its ways this winter.
With Aaron Ramsey set to leave the Emirates stadium on a free transfer this summer, the Gunners are now considering the idea of actually selling him for a profit.
According to the Mirror, Arsenal have told Juventus that the Welshman will be allowed to move to Italy this month if an offer of £18million is received.
Club owner Stan Kroenke has shown no signs of handing Unai Emery enough money to spend in the January transfer window.
As a result, the Gunners are being forced to either settle for loan deals or sell players in order to raise funds for new signings.
