The Gunners appear to have been quoted an affordable price for the signing of one of their chief transfer targets as Mikel Arteta looks for a potential replacement for Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang.

With Aubameyang yet to agree to renew his contract at the Emirates stadium, the Gunners have been forced into a search for a new striker who has the capability of replacing the Gabon international.

Thus, the Express is claiming that Arsenal have been informed about how much it will take to secure the services of Odsonne Edouard from Celtic this summer.

According to the report, the Gunners have been told that it would cost a fee of £25m for the 22-year-old striker to be sold, which is significantly less than the price of other high-profile targets.

Edouard, who joined Celtic on a four-year deal two years ago after an initial loan spell, has been in prolific form for the Scottish giants this season, scoring 27 goals and racking up 19 assists in all competitions.
