Well-known Arsenal supporter and club shareholder Piers Morgan has taken to Twitter to suggest what should be done regarding the future of Arsene Wenger.

The Gunners thrashed Everton 5-1 in response to the frustrating 3-1 defeat against Swansea City a few days earlier.

Thus, many were expected Arsenal to continue turning the corner against Tottenham Hotspur in Saturday’s clash in the north London derby.

However, Arsene Wenger’s men produced yet another insipid performance away from home as they succumbed to a 1-0 defeat following a header from Harry Kane in the second half of the game.

The result means the Gunners are now highly unlikely to challenge for a top four finish as they sit in sixth place in the Premier League table.

Not for the first time this season, fans are calling for Wenger to bring his long reign at the club to an end.

And club shareholder Piers Morgan has certainly added his say, suggesting that the Frenchman should be sacked based on the fact that this is his worst season at Arsenal.
